There are several new members to the group :) YAY! Let's all introduce ourselves. I'll start.

My name is Dana. I've been a member of Diet.com since Dec. 2007. I lost 20 lbs in 2008, but sadly gained 30 lbs. since then. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been and I'm back here on Diet.com to lose it again and for GOOD! I'm tired of always feeling overweight! I weighed myself a few days ago. 185 lbs. I'm 5'7. I really want to get somewhere between 140-145. I think that's a real healthy weigt for me.

Lets see.. I have a 3 year old son. I gained a whopping 56 lbs. during my pregnancy with him! yikes!

Tell me all about yourselves!

Hi I'm Dmallela, from India.I've just signed into diet.com I'm about 5'3 and weight about 95 kgs and I am 22 yrs old. I need help in losing weight. I'm hoping that people over here who have successfully lost weight wil be able to motivate me too.I would want to weigh somewhere between72-75 kgs.So I have a huge goal of reducing about 20 kgs.

Hi, I'm Mary. Umm, in the last 2 years I went from being 102lbs to 145lbs and I feel quite gross. I wanna lose 20lbs. I'm really small so 120lbs is a good weight. I just want to be able to say this is me, this is my body, and I LIKE IT>

Hi all Im new to the group and to the site. As of right now Im on a 1200 cal diet, those seem to work best but I need to drop alot of weight by Aug 29,2009 thats my Wedding Day!! Haha fat chance that will happen. If anyone has any advice let me know! Im also taking Xendrain

Alright guysss I'm Cholty from Thailand. I wanna lose more weight before I move to England in August. Im here on this site just to have someone to talk to while losing weight just dont wanna go through this rough time on my own lol feel free to talk to me I wont bite.... hard :P

Hi I'm Charlene, 19 years old. 5'5'' and 130 lbs..I would say my weight is a healthy one for my height but I would like to get down to 115 (in a healthy way). I like to workout, everyday, and I eat 5-6 very small meals a day. I've lost 14 lbs this summer while maintaining my strength and stamina, so I'd love some motivation to continue and I'm here to help as well.

man i would love to weigh as much as some of you girls. I let myself get out of control now i weigh about 250lbs i got a gym membership i dont know were to start in my work outs or anything, im in my senior year in highschool i have tons of friends who are supporting me, but there are always those kids who give me a hard time about my weight. i grew up with my older brother mom and dad all being overweight i didnt learn about eating properly now im teaching myself.

Hi Im new to this site. I figured I needed something more then a food journal to keep me accountable! I am turning 23 soon and really would like to start the next year of my life in a healthier place. I am 5'5 and I weigh 153...(luckily I tend to carry my weight well!) Last summer I weighed 140 and was in the best shape since I was a freshman in highschool! I want to get back to that place mostly for myself, but also for my son,my husband...and lastly for a boob job! Motherhood really does a number on them! My goal is to finally stop yo-yoing and stick with a healthy lifestyle for life!

Hi, just call me Carolyn.

My weight loss goal is 100 lbs, which I am determined to do by February 2010. I used to be 233 lbs, but I lost 9 pounds and am continuing my journey in giving myself a complete lifestyle overhaul.

So far, I'm into kickboxing, cardio, yoga, tai chi, bicycling, power walking, and I hope to get good at pilates (the hardest).

I am also an aspiring writer who loves arts and crafts, and a future job awaits me at the Walt Disney World Resort.

My future husband also awaits me in Central Florida, and we'll live in Celebration very soon, right now I'm saving money in an account for property there.

I come humbly asking for support and kind people in my journey.

Hi I'm Jen...29 yrs old with 6 kids...yes 6. I weigh 145...2 yrs ago i was 120 before my last pregnancy and looked awesome! I just moved from CT to Fl and I loooove the beach...but my body doesn't! I aim to lose 20 lbs and be back in Bikini shape...plus I want my boobs and tummy done so....

well my name is tasha.i am 31 yrs old and weigh 236lbs.i have 3 kids,a son 14,daughter 12 and my littlest is 16 months,she's an angel.i have tried all kinds of different diets and nothing worked.any tips on anyhtin you have tried that worked?

Hey! My name is Christina. I'm 21 and well... a month ago I was 290 whooping pounds. Sad I know. I've never been skinny. Was told at a very young age to finish my plate by my father. I'm a nervous eater and Use food as a comfort zone. Well times have changed! I have lost around 18 pounds in a month. Realized nothing is going to change if I don't take the time and put myself first every day and change it. I drink 2 liters of water a day, get 6-8 hours of sleep nightly, work out at the gym 6 days a week. All which consist of running or hour long cardio classes. Weight training I do every other day. And I'm just here to chat with people who share the desire to get healthy and like themselves just as much as I do. My goal is to lose 100 more pounds by July 2010. I know I can do it! :)

Hi I am sasha I live in the cold state of Utah. I grew up in the sunny state of california and I miss the beach and the sun. I am the third youngest of nine. I am so glad that I found Diet.com it is going to help me sooo much.

Hi. My name is Hillary. I just started using diet.com this last week. I am so excited. I am 29 yours old. Mom of three hyper boys. I am 5'6" and 250lbs. I could use to lose about a hundred of that. I need to get healthier. I need to up my energy level. I want to stop having to look in the SPECIAL PLUS SIZE section of every store I go into trying to fine 20/22 TALL size jeans! That is probably what makes me the maddest. That and how I just plain need to keep up with my boys. My goal is to be able to go up a flight of stairs and NOT get winded.

Hi. I'm Nancy. I just joined and am looking to lose lots of weight. I'm now 30, 5'3", 260 lbs, I want to get to my healthy weight, which is about 140-150. Ugh!!! Got a lot of work to do!! I'm here for motivational support, wieght loss ideas, workout routines, and anything else that can help me.

Hi. I'm Stephanie. I just joined too. I am looking to loose 40 lbs. I am 31 and so tired of the weight yo yo. I have a little girl who is almost 3 years old. And I am terrified that if I don't get it together I will end up diabetic by the time I'm 40. I am looking for a diet buddy to keep me accountable.

hi im charli :) im 22 years old, 5ft5" and i weigh 151lbs i want to lose about 15-20lbs just to be more confident with myself and im not great with exercise! i really need motivation with exercise! wishing us all good luck reaching our goals and i hope we can all get there together :)

Hi everyone, I'm Vee, I'm 31, and fast approaching the heighest weight I've ever been - I was 156lbs 2 yrs ago, and managed to lose 20lbs, but meeting the perfect guy just totally sunk me into comfort mode, and we've both packed on weight since we met! Trying to get slim and trim during the challenging holiday season is going to be hard, but I truly want this, it's great to be a part of such a supportive site!

My name is Cheryl. I am 44 years old. I weigh 200 pounds. I have struggled with my weight all my live. I just keep going back t my old habits. My biggest problem is not planning my meals. Any advice or support will be appriciated.
