Ingredients - 1 can (15 ounce) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 1/2 pound chicken thighs, skin removed and chopped
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar (such as cider or white)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions - In large pot, cook chicken until almost done.
- Add tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Add kidney beans and simmer for 5-10 more minutes.
