Ingredients
  • 1 can (15 ounce) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 1/2 pound chicken thighs, skin removed and chopped
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (such as cider or white)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. In large pot, cook chicken until almost done.
  2. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, garlic, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  4. Add kidney beans and simmer for 5-10 more minutes.
