Ingredients - 1/2 loaf Italian or French bread split lengthwise
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup low-fat shredded mozzarella
- 3 Tablespoons chopped green pepper
- 3 Tablespoons chopped red onion
- 3 Tablespoons sliced mushrooms
- Other vegetable toppings as desired (optional)
- Chopped garlic and basil (optional)
Instructions - Toast the bread until slightly brown. Top bread with pizza sauce, vegetables and low-fat cheese.
- Return bread to toaster oven (or regular oven preheated to 350 degrees). Heat until cheese melts.
